Brendan Wood International is pleased to announce the designated TopGunSM Investment Minds in
the US 2018. This competition, now in its eighth year, singles out individual investment
professionals as being the most enlightened and disciplined professionals in the US investment
industry.
TopGunSM candidates are selected through a confidential nomination process based exclusively on
personal interviews with America’s leading sell-side professionals. Collectively, the nominating
panel represents the majority of US broker dealer professionals who interface with institutional
investors on a daily basis. The voting process strictly limits the number of nominations a
respondent can make which evens the playing field. Investment professionals are designated
TopGuns based upon the number of individual nominations they receive. Out of a field of 1000+
potential candidates, 103, the top decile, were individually vetted for the TopGunSM designation.
The highest scoring TopGunSM Investment Mind in the US for 2018 is Dan Denbow of USAA

of TopGunSM Investment Minds. Team results are monitored non stop throughout the year. This
competition is called a Marathon because results represent at least two years of consistent
TopGunSM ratings. The 2018 rankings will include a smaller Entrepreneur Class Teams category
which will recognize smaller asset management firms with the highest component of TopGuns
