CrowdStrike Under Legal Scrutiny: Crisis or Opportunity for Rebound?

CrowdStrike has had a tumultuous couple weeks. According to the company, a flawed update caused a major Microsoft Windows outage. Prompting U.S. Congress to call the company’s CEO George Kurtz to testify.
According to CrowdStrike’s preliminary Post Incident Review, the outage was triggered by a problematic update to their Falcon Sensor, which led to a widespread crash on many Windows systems.
As would be expected, CrowdStrike is poised to potentially face significant legal challenges. Investors in the BWI Panel anticipate lawsuits in the wake of the recent global cyber outage. BWI is keeping a close eye on these issues in on-going investor discussions.
