Ever since the early days of the pandemic Brendan Wood’s Shareholder Confidence Index has been a source of relief to anxious institutional investors, family wealth advisors and their clients, especially during periods of apparent uncertainty. According to Brendan Wood International’s global polls on the subject, the number of professional investors planning to increase their exposure to equities has risen to 37% from 33% in February 2025.
Brendan Wood’s daily investor debriefs update the selective demand for individual stocks and desired general exposure to global equities going forward. The big cap demand for equity exposure today is net positive but considerably less intense than in February 2023.
